DTCare is making strides in addressing the healthcare crisis in Lebanon by opening the Primary Health Care Center for Chouf Coastal Area (PHC-CC) in Damour, Mount Lebanon, in partnership with SEID. The emigration of numerous healthcare providers and the economic downturn burden the already struggling healthcare system. This crisis has particularly affected vulnerable groups, including children, women, persons with disabilities, and older adults, who are unable to access and afford necessary medical care.
The PHC-CC clinic is slated to officially open its doors in early April 2024, providing affordable healthcare services to underserved communities. DTCare’s Hangar and Distribution Center in Roumieh will continue to help address the need for accessible mobility aids and medical supplies for persons with disabilities and injuries. By offering expert care and affordable options, DTCare is committed to making healthcare and medicine more accessible to those in need.

Co-sponsored by DTCare and SEID, the clinic is centrally located to provide primary health care to vulnerable communities, including women, persons with disabilities, and older adults. At the PHC-CC medical clinic, healthcare professionals are dedicated to providing meticulous patient care. DTCare, in partnership with SEID, is proud to offer its first medical service at the clinic by providing health screenings for a group of women from the community. This marks the beginning of our commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive healthcare. Our long-term goal is to close health service gaps and promote a healthier community in coastal Damour.
Access to Quality Healthcare for All: DTCare Opens Clinic in Mount Lebanon
With the opening of the PHC-CC community clinic in Damour, Lebanon, DTCare and our partners, SEID, aim to make primary healthcare services easily accessible to the residents of the Mount Lebanon mountain range and surrounding areas, especially those who cannot afford to pay for medical care. This initiative will provide crucial medical assistance to the local population and contribute to improving the overall health and well-being of the community. The clinic will also serve as a healthcare education and awareness center, offering resources and training on disease prevention and healthy living. By providing affordable and accessible healthcare services, DTCare is determined to bridge the gap between affordability, accessibility, and quality care in the region. We have partnered with a reputable U.S.-based nonprofit organization specializing in medical aid and medicine provision to ensure the sustainability of our efforts in providing free care and receiving regular medical supplies.
