The Cause
How awesome would it be to have a delicious meal at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse while helping a family in South Africa with access to electricity? DTCare is thrilled to partner with BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse in McCandless and South Hills, PA, to combat the energy crisis for families in South Africa. The funds raised will help DTCare provide power inverters to families in need, enabling them to generate their electricity without relying on the failing national power grid. South Africa is heading into winter facing its worst-ever and most crippling power cuts of up to 16 hours a day, forcing underprivileged families unable to afford alternative power generators to get by with little to no electricity. On June 14, you can help give families hope and make a difference by dining in or ordering online (pick-up orders included) from BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse's McCandless and South Hills locations and simply showing the respective location flyer or using the unique code at checkout to support DTCare.
How It Works
When dining in or ordering online from BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse in McCandless or South Hills on 14 June 2023, all you need to do is show the location fundraiser flyer at check-out (for dine-in) or use the unique location code at checkout (for online orders) to help sponsor power inverters for South African families in need at no extra cost to you. For every meal purchased between 4 PM - 11 PM EST on June 14 (showing either the flyer or using the unique code), BJ's McCandless and South Hills will donate 20% of the proceeds to DTCare's effort to help families in South Africa with power inverters to generate electricity.
