The Cause
This holiday season, DTCare and VFW Post 7714, Montour Valley, are teaming up to collect lightly used coats for our area’s homeless veterans. As temperatures drop, many heroes who bravely served our country are left battling the cold. We’re on a mission to collect 40 coats to deliver warmth to those who need it most.
SPECIAL NEED: Larger sizes (XL, XXL, XXXL, and up) are in high demand! Your gently used, larger-sized coats will provide critical comfort and protection to veterans in our community. All coats collected will directly benefit veterans at the VA Hospital in Oakland and homeless veterans throughout the area.
How to Get Involved
You can make a real difference in a veteran’s life by donating a lightly used coat today. Here’s how to help:
Drop off your donation at any of the convenient locations below:
North Fayette Community Center, 580 Donaldson Rd, Oakdale, PA, 15071
Findlay Township Municipal Building, 1271 US-30, Clinton, PA 15026
Only lightly used coats are accepted (no other clothing items, please).
