Financial security for women through chicken farming
The mothers living at DTCare’s Home in Monte Lirio will receive a microloan from DTSpark to start a 100% women-owned small business of raising chickens.
The venture will help give the young mothers the financial independence they need to sustain themselves and their families in a largely male dominated part of the world.

Panamanian brothers are looking to expand their transport business to Central America. The high cost of renting a trailer in Panama prevented the brothers from expanding.
Purchasing a trailer will allow the brothers to expand their small business of transporting food and medicine to Central America, and DTSpark is helping them realize that vision. Through microfinancing solutions, the brothers were enabled to purchase the trailer they need while paying off the microloan at an affordable rate instead of the expense of renting a trailer.
