MOVEMENT Volleyball Camp

Uniting and Empowering Girls in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Every year, DTCare hosts the highly anticipated MOVEMENT Volleyball Camp (Mountain Volleyball, Education, and Mentorship), a signature event that unites ethnically diverse girls and young women in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the power of sports, education, and mentorship. In 2025, our Third Annual MOVEMENT Camp united young athletes from Busovača, Travnik, Novi Travnik, and Kotor Varoš at Mount Vlašić from June 27 to 29, and featured volleyball training led by DTCare’s nationally recognized coach Camron Deiss, life skills workshops, and mentorship sessions.

This transformative summer camp is part of our Unification Through Sports Initiative and typically spans three full days. The MOVEMENT Volleyball Camp serves as a pioneering platform for fostering friendship, leadership, teamwork, and personal growth among girls aged 11–16, regardless of their backgrounds, bringing participants together on the picturesque Mount Vlašić and offering a mix of volleyball training, life skills workshops, and inspirational mentorship sessions — all designed to empower the next generation of female leaders.

MOVEMENT 2025

The Third Annual Movement Camp United Young Athletes at Mt. Vlasic

From June 27 to 29, 2025, DTCare hosted our Third Annual MOVEMENT Volleyball Camp on Mount Vlašić, bringing together girls’ volleyball clubs from Busovača, Travnik, Novi Travnik, and Kotor Varoš for a transformative weekend of sports and mentorship. Approximately 50 girls from diverse backgrounds honed their volleyball skills under DTCare’s nationally recognized coach, Camron Deiss, alongside expert coaches and mentors from both Bosnia and Herzegovina. This unique camp provided not just dynamic volleyball training but also opportunities for participants to explore potential career paths through workshops with the Telemach Foundation and to build lasting friendships and a spirit of camaraderie with peers from across the country.

Beyond the court, life skills sessions covered critical topics such as first aid, online safety, situational awareness, resisting peer violence, and ways to inspire others—laying strong foundations for the girls’ health, well-being, and personal growth. Special thanks go to the volleyball players from OK Victory Novi Travnik, OK Travnik, OK Busovača, and OK Kotor Varoš for their outstanding engagement and energy, as well as to the generous support from the Sarajevo Diplomatic Winter Bazaar, CEPS College, Oaza Water, Violeta, and OrbiCo. As the camp continues to inspire and empower girls each year, we look forward to seeing these young athletes excel both on and off the court and to future collaborations with our valued partners.
